Phaedra is a very loving and happy girl. She loves to be walked (great on leash -- although she needs to be corrected/controlled if other aggressive dogs pass). She loves to be brushed, LIVES for all types of affection. Loves to be close and cuddling. Is an excellent traveler in the car and on trips. Very well mannered and responsive -- loves to please. She is an indoor dog. Enjoys the yard in the "cool" of the evening. Quiet -- not a barker. Is addicted to raw vegetables as a snack -- bell peppers, tomatoes, squash, lettuce -- almost any veggie. When we hears me "slicing" in the kitchen, she comes and sits at my side waiting for a treat. She is used to having someone home all day, so she would love that environment. She lives to be with people. Would be very sad if she were alone many hours in the day.

Phaedra has issues with other dogs in her household and needs to be in a home with no other dogs or cats. She is well-maintained on antihistamines for incontinence at night and takes her pills with no fuss. Although she need her medication to control leakage during sleep, Phaedra is completely house-trained and does not urinate in the house. Dentals were just done in early August.
